Hackney based CLAY CLUB is a kids ceramics studio which produces workshops focused on building creative confidence by encouraging the imagination into the physical world.

Over two inspiring days at at the brilliant STUDIO POTTERY LONDON, children will deep dive into the ceramics process, working with clay in its broadest sense from sensory clay play to learning techniques that they can develop into a ceramics practice. The workshops are built around fun themes and offer a powerful antidote to screen-heavy lives, supporting focus, patience and creativity through making.

Working with clay has enormous benefits for our sensory input, focus and creative thinking. At the heart of Clay Club is a belief in the importance of fostering a child’s creativity off screen and initiating a life long connection to making.

Clay is a humble medium of the earth. Through careful hands and sound intent, an object of beauty is created.
All levels welcome.

These two sessions take place within our Studio Pottery London teaching space. Each pupil will keep two vessels from each session which will be glazed and fired at the studio to be collected within 2-4 weeks.
