Children's Immunisations and Vaccinations

This is an online session and will take place at St Peter & St Paul's Church, Wakefield.

This session is designed for Nurses involved in delivering Immunisations and Vaccinations and want to further their skills in Children's Immunisations & Vaccinations.

Content includes -

• Immunisation and how vaccines work
• National policy, the current UK childhood schedule and selected other countrys childhood schedules
• Unscheduled vaccinations
• Vaccine preventable disease
• Legal aspects of vaccination
• Administration technique - babies and children
• Communicating with parents
• Strategies for improving vaccine uptake & Vaccine Hesitency
• Current issues related to vaccination anatomy and physiology of the immune system

An outlook invite will be sent out 48hours after booking and a joining link will be sent out closer to the time of the session so make sure the email address you have provided is accessed before the session.
