Cinco de Mayo Cooking Class – Chicken Mole from Scratch 🇲🇽👩‍🍳

Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or make it a special early Mother’s Day celebration) with a hands-on interactive cooking class at Rosita’s Cocina!

In this unique class, we will learn how to prepare one of Mexico’s most iconic and complex dishes: Chicken Mole made completely from scratch. Mole is an art and a labor of love, traditionally made with many ingredients and layers of flavor. In this class, we’ll break down the process and recreate this traditional recipe inspired by the way my grandmother made it in Mexico.

Although mole usually takes many hours to prepare, we will compress the process into a two-hour class, including one full hour of hands-on cooking where we’ll build the flavors step-by-step.

Together we will:

• Learn the traditional process of making mole from scratch
• Prepare and finish chicken mole
• Enjoy the dish together at the end of class
• Take some mole home so you can serve it to your family for your own Cinco de Mayo feast

This class is BYOB, so bring your favorite wine, beer, or margarita ingredients and celebrate with us while we cook! 🍷🍹
