• You have 30 minutes to complete your initial checkout
• A countdown timer will show remaining time
• If time expires, held inventory is released back into stock
✨ After checkout, you can log back in anytime to:
• Add chicks
• Adjust quantities
• Update your reservation
⏱️ The timer is tied to your account, not your device.
🐣 IMPORTANT INVENTORY NOTE
Customers may log back in at any time to update or add to their reservation.
However, if a reservation (or items within it) is deleted, those chicks are immediately released to public inventory.
Because chick availability can change by the minute — especially during high-volume ordering periods — deleted chicks may not be available to re-add.

A quick and important note on feeding your feathered performers
Not all feed is created equal, and choosing the right one keeps your chicks healthy and thriving under the big top.
🐣Chick Feeding Basics
• Chicks are NOT vaccinated for coccidia, a serious & potentially deadly bacteria
• We strongly recommend a medicated chick starter for chicks for the first 6 weeks
• After 6 weeks, you may transition to a non-medicated feed
🥚Important Feed Rules (Please Read!)
• Medicated chick starter is for chicks ONLY
• Ducks CANNOT eat medicated chick starter
• Medicated chick starter does not have enough protein for turkeys or guineas
• Ducks, geese, turkeys, and guineas all require different nutrition
🦃 Turkeys & Guineas
• Require a higher-protein feed
• Their medicated feed is NOT safe for chicks
🐔🦆🦃Mixed Flock? Here’s a Pro Tip
If you have a mixed flock or kids helping with feeding (and feeds might get mixed up),
👉 Flock Raiser is your safest option.
• Flock Raiser is safe for all poultry
• It provides balanced nutrition without making anyone sick
• We still prefer that chicks receive medicated, species-appropriate feed when possible, but Flock Raiser is a solid and safe compromise
