Harriet Armstrong lives and works in London. Her first novel, To Rest Our Minds and Bodies, was published by Les Fugitives last year, won the Betty Trask Prize and was shortlisted for the Dylan Thomas Prize. Her short stories have been published in Granta, Kismet, Forever Magazine and elsewhere.
Dorothy Dunn is a musician and song-writer as well as a short-story writer. She grew up in south east London, and graduated with an MA in literature from Goldsmiths. She has written for The Guardian, been a boutique biscuit maker, a terrible barista and a contemporary art student. She is currently a bookseller at Chener Books.
Lucie Elven is a writer, editor, and journalist. Her short stories can be found in NOON, Kismet, and Granta, and her essays in The London Review of Books, The New York Times, Le Monde diplomatique, and The New Yorker. Her first book, a novella, was The Weak Spot in 2021.
Ekin Oklap was born in Turkey, grew up in Italy, and lives in London. Her translations from Turkish and Italian have been shortlisted for the International Booker Prize and John Florio Prize, among others. First Summer, published by Simon & Schuster in May 2026 is her first novel.
Ben Pester's debut story collection Am I in the Right Place? was published in 2021, and was long listed for the 2022 Edge Hill Prize. His fiction and work has appeared in Granta, The London Magazine, TANK, Hotel, Five Dials and elsewhere. His debut novel The Expansion Project was published in 2025, and his subsequent story collection Sail Away Land is out now.
