The 2nd annual champagne and gourmet food matching symposium, powered by Liebherr, bringing together Latvia’s top chefs & sommeliers, a celebrated Jury including Peter Liem and Aigars Nords, and a wonderful group of gourmets voting for the best champagne and food combination of the year!🥂 OUR IDEA
As last year, leading chefs and sommeliers will be invited to present pairings that clearly demonstrate the outstanding compatibility of Champagne and gastronomy.
Last year, we experienced 10 creative pairings – from oysters and caviar to arancini; from reinvented zeppelins and herring pies to foie gras – all crafted by Latvia’s leading restaurants and paired perfectly with spectacular Champagnes. This year, the lineup will be different, but just as good – if not even better.
🥂 HOW WILL IT WORK?
The Hanzas Perons atrium hall will transform into a dining room – take your seat and get ready for the showdown. Each chef and sommelier duo will briefly present their dish and the corresponding Champagne, serving it to the jury and gourmet guests.
The jury will evaluate each pairing, the dish itself, and the Champagne, aiming to determine the most compelling combination.

A limited number of gourmets will be invited to join us — so simply sit back, relax, and enjoy exceptional food and Champagne.
