A Chef Takeover at Studio 12: two days of food, drinks and vinyl.
Chefs Tala Bashmi and Sylvia Vavik-Flåten bring the flavours of their homes together in a collaborative, playful menu, in a relaxed setting.
Hosted in Studio 12’s courtyard, which feels like your back home best friend's back yard, you’ll hear a vinyl selection curated by Tala Bashmi and Patricia Doors while you eat.
Food is served from 1pm - 3pm, set out on a communal table, for you to help yourself at your own pace, alongside an all new custom experimental bar menu by Sana Barclay.
Afterwards join us for a drink as BUSHBBY carries the afternoon into the evening.

Tala Bashmi is an award-winning Bahraini chef celebrated for redefining Khaleeji cuisine through a contemporary, heritage-led approach. After training at the Culinary Arts Academy in Switzerland and working in leading European kitchens, she returned to Bahrain to open ‘Fusions by Tala’, one of the region's most acclaimed restaurants. Her accolades include MENA's Best Female Chef (2022), The Best Chef Awards Three Knives (2024), and the Estrella Damm Chefs' Choice Award (2025). She is also a UN Tourism Gastronomy Ambassador.
Sylvia Vavik-Flåten is a Mexican-Norwegian chef, culinary educator and founder of Sylvia's Mexican Kitchen. With over 20 years of experience, she is known for authentic Mexican cuisine and inventive Mexican-Nordic cooking rooted in heritage, sustainability and storytelling. A winner of TV2's Norges Grillmester, Sylvia has cooked internationally across Mexico, Finland, Iceland and Norway, creating immersive dining experiences, teaching, consulting and developing her artisan salsa collection inspired by Mexican techniques and Nordic ingredients.
