Join Checkmates for a fun and relaxed space for young players to challenge each other, practice strategies, and improve their game! This mostly player-led club encourages kids to learn through play. Come make new friends and enjoy the game of chess at your own pace! No registration required, just drop in and play. Please bring your own portable chess set if you have one. This program has generously been supported by the Central Point Friends of the Library.
