Join us for this crowd favorite - Chay Drol Empowerment Ritual!!!
Ched drol, in Tibetan, means “to make free of obstacles” and is a ritual for removing obstacles that hold us back from achieving enlightenment.
This ritual involves a lot of audience participation, including having rainbow yarn, symbolizing negative patterns, wrapped around us. Then the string is ritually cut to symbolize cutting through obstacles that have held us back.
Ched Drol has been a crowd favorite wherever the monks present it. This event is part of a visit by the Gaden Shartse monastery monks to 1580 Creekside Dr., Community Education Room #1 (seperate building from the hospital) , Folsom CA
For full schedule see Placerville Friends of Tibet on Facebook or www.placervillefriendsoftibet.org
All proceeds support the Gaden Shartse Monastery located in southern India.
Everyone is welcome!
