Chasing the Pink Moon: Sunset-to-Moonrise Boardwalk Walk 🥾🌅🌕💗Join us for a relaxed Pink Moon evening walk at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Boardwalk! We’ll start in daylight, catch sunset, and (hopefully) watch the moonrise during the walk. 🌕✨
🌸 Why it’s called the Pink Moon:
The “Pink Moon” is April’s full moon nickname, named after early spring blooms—especially the pink wildflower moss pink / creeping phlox that pops up this time of year. It’s a seasonal name (the moon usually won’t actually look pink). 🌕💗
