CHARCUTERIE BOARD - POTTERY HANDBUILDING WORKSHOP - June 20th
About this Event
Charcuterie Board Pottery Workshop
Saturday, June 20 | 12:00–2:00 PM
Location: Pot Spot Studio, 721 Gore Avenue, Vancouver
Join us for a relaxed, creative 2-hour pottery workshop where you’ll handcraft your own ceramic charcuterie board from start to finish. Designed for beginners and casual makers, this session is all about slowing down, working with your hands, and creating a functional piece you’ll actually use.
You’ll be guided through the process of shaping and refining a slab-built board, with instruction on form, texture, and surface detailing to make your piece both beautiful and practical. Whether you prefer a minimalist design or something more organic and rustic, you’ll have room to explore your own style.
What to Expect
- Step-by-step instruction in slab-built pottery techniques
- Designing and shaping your own charcuterie board
- Tips for creating functional, food-safe forms
- Texture and surface design options for personalization
- All tools, clay, and materials provided
- Your piece will be glazed and kiln-fired after the workshop
No experience is needed—just come ready to get your hands dirty and enjoy a creative afternoon in the studio. Your finished charcuterie board will be ready for pickup once firing is complete.
