Charcobloc Climbing Film Screening!

Let's kick off the climbing season with a great climbing film among friends!
Produced in México and Spain, a Deep Water Solo story arrived in Wanaka to bring us together and motivate us to keep going out!
November 12th, 7 pm / Lake Wanaka Center
Tickets: https://events.humanitix.com/charcobloc-film-screening
“CHARCOBLOC” tells the story of Fer de la Mora, a young Mexican climber determined to take on one of the most iconic Psicobloc routes: Loskot & Two Smoking Barrels in Mallorca, Spain.
Beyond the athletic challenge of climbing without a rope over the sea, the film unveils a deeply human journey. Fer lives in a world where he isn't a professional athlete, yet he dares to push his physical, emotional, and existential limits.
“Charcobloc” is not only a film about climbing hard, but an honest portrait of the struggles of pursuing a dream along an uncertain path—where the true reward is not reaching the summit, but becoming the person you are in the process.
Pablo León, director and photographer, will be hosting this screening in Wanaka. Come, support, and enjoy!
