In the absence of the Surrey Steampunk Convivial you are cordially invited to the Dorset Steampunk Convivial, where we will have fun, make merry, possibly/probably play games and generally have a good time.
Will and Linnie at the Rivers Arms, Cheselbourne (DT2 7NW) are hosting this two day/three night event - yes, I know, another Will!
They are used to my bonkers outfits, so no problem there!
The pub has 7 'Alpine Chalets' at the rear, each of which are well equipped with: a double bed, en-suite shower room, heating, towels and tea/coffee facilities.
They are £50 a night, per chalet, with breakfast included. Generally they stop doing breakfast at 10am, but are prepared to be a bit flexible for us.
Check in at 3pm & check out at 11am.
Food is available most of the time - generally they stop doing food on a Sunday at 4pm, but again they are prepared to be a bit flexible for us.
Remember this is the wilds of mid Dorset(!), so the range of food and drinks will not be as big as the middle of towns.

There is other accommodation in the general area, but it will likely mean driving.
Bear in mind the pub is built on a hill, so there are stairs between the 'Library', where I expect we will mostly be and the bar, which is downstairs. There is also a slope up to the chalets at the rear.
