Chapitô Carnival Parade / Desfile de Carnaval do Chapitô 2025

The Chapitô Circus School is celebrating the most colourful and circus-like Carnival of all time. On 28 February at 2.30pm the doors of the emblematic space open for an afternoon of magic revelry and juggling crowned by the presence of the charismatic actor Heitor Lourenço elected King of Carnival. This year Chapitô is teaming up with the Santa Maria Maior Parish Council and Lisbon City Council to promote a huge parade that as well as being fun will be the stage for a lot of sharing art culture inclusion and civic participation. The Chapitonean revellers will be dressed in costumes inspired by animals from the five continents. The parade will be led by the Farra Fanfarra band in a performance that promises to delight everyone present.

O Chapitô celebra o Carnaval mais colorido e circense de todos os tempos. No dia 28 de fevereiro às 14h30 as portas do emblemático espaço abrem-se para uma tarde de magia folia e malabarismo coroada pela presença do carismático ator Heitor Lourenço eleito o Rei do Carnaval. Este ano o Chapitô alia-se à Junta de Freguesia de Santa Maria Maior e à Câmara Municipal de Lisboa para promover um grande desfile que além de divertido será palco para muita partilha arte cultura inclusão e participação cívica. Os foliões chapitoneanos estarão caraterizados com fantasias inspiradas nos animais dos cinco continentes. O desfile será animado pela banda Farra Fanfarra num andamento performático que promete alegrar todos os presentes.
