𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓Â𝐍𝐄𝐀 - 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒈ê𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂 𝒂𝒓𝒕í𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝒅𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒖𝒙𝒐 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒓𝒆Desembarca no Bus a primeira edição da 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵â𝘯𝘦𝘢, o novo evento multidisciplinar que promove um momento de encontro e experimentação em torno de diferentes práticas expressivas - música, dança, pintura, poesia, teatro, cinema… - num fluxo livre e espontâneo!
Nesta primeira sessão, dia 28 de Fevereiro, despimo-nos de qualquer categorização e juntamo-nos em nome da diversão e experimentação artística. Em linha com os valores da casa que nos hospeda, pretendemos proporcionar um espaço aberto, descontraído e acessível a todxs. A entrada é livre até às 20h e haverá comida caseira a preços populares (detalhes abaixo). Chega cedo, aproveita mais! :)
Cada sessão da Instantânea irá hospedar artistas diferentes e os próprios contornos do evento irão evoluir organicamente ao longo do tempo. Desta vez contaremos com:
💃 Um espetáculo de dança improvisado por Aiswarya Prathap e Angelica Isenarda, acompanhadas por Dario Spulzo na guitarra
🎶 DJ set em vinil de Whole Ball of Wax (das infames noites “Do The BUS Stop”)
🖼️ Exposição de obras, instalação vídeo e venda de impressões por Margarida Casquilha
🍲 Comida caseira (prato: 4€; sopa: 1,50€; menu: 5€)

The first edition of 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵â𝘯𝘦𝘢 is landing at Bus, a new multidisciplinary event that promotes a moment of encounter and experimentation around different forms of creative expression - music, dance, painting, poetry, theatre, cinema... - in a free and spontaneous flow!
In this first session, on 28 February, we will strip ourselves of any categorisation and come together in the name of fun and artistic experimentation. In line with the values of the house that hosts us, we want to provide an open, relaxed space that is accessible to everyone. Entry is free until 8pm and there will be homemade food at popular prices (details below). Arrive early, enjoy more! :)
Each session of Instantânea will host different artists and the very contours of the event will evolve organically over time. This first session will feature:
💃 An improvised dance show by Aiswarya Prathap and Angelica Isenarda, accompanied by Dario Spulzo on guitar
🎶 Vinyl DJ set by Whole Ball of Wax (from the infamous ‘Do The BUS Stop’ nights)
🖼️ Exhibition of artworks, video installation and sale of prints by Margarida Casquilha
🍲 Homemade food (dish: €4; soup: €1.50; menu: €5)

👩🏻🎨 Margarida Casquilha
Margarida é estudante de Pintura/Artes Plásticas e tem formação em Figurinos e Cenografia. Possui um trabalho multidisciplinar, explorando diversas linguagens e suportes, incluindo a pintura, fotografia, colagem, assemblagem e o vídeo, buscando sempre novas formas de expressão artística que dialoguem sobre temas atuais, nunca esquecendo o seu enquadramento histórico. No seu trabalho, de uma forma ou de outra, aborda temas como a beleza e a sedução, tanto ligadas à imagem, enquanto representação visual, como ao mundo da beleza cosmética e da moda, que produzem imagens de propaganda exatamente com o objetivo de seduzir um potencial comprador e de alguma forma acessar aos seus desejos e compulsões.
Margarida is a student of painting/visual arts and has a background in costume and set design. Her work is multidisciplinary, exploring different languages and media, including painting, photography, collage, assemblage and video, always seeking new forms of artistic expression that dialogue on current themes, never forgetting their historical context. In her work, in one way or another, she deals with themes such as beauty and seduction, both linked to the image as a visual representation and to the world of cosmetic beauty and fashion, which produce advertising images precisely with the aim of seducing a potential buyer and somehow tapping into their desires and compulsions.
💃🏻 Angelica Isenarda
Angelica Isenarda é uma dançarina, coreógrafa, professora e organizadora cultural italiana. Com mais de 20 anos de experiência, a sua abordagem à dança e ao movimento está intimamente ligada à procura da relação entre corpo e espírito e de uma essência de movimento tão incontaminada quanto possível. É co-fundadora do Festival Internacional de Dança ALTREFRONTIERE e em 2024 fundou o ALTREFORME Sociocultural Art Festival, um evento migratório pluridisciplinar que celebra as Artes, a Multiculturalidade, a Comunidade e a Socialidade. O BUS é a sua casa, pois aí dá aulas de dança contemporânea desde 2019.
Angelica Isenarda is an Italian dancer, choreographer, teacher and cultural organiser. With more than 20 years of experience, her approach to dance and movement is closely linked to the search for the relationship between body and spirit, and for an essence of movement that is as uncontaminated as possible. She is co-founder of the ALTREFRONTIERE International Dance Festival and in 2024 she founded ALTREFORME Sociocultural Art Festival, a pluridisciplinary migratory event celebrating Arts, Multiculturalism, Community and Sociality. BUS is her home as she’s been giving contemporary dance classes there since 2019.
💃🏽 Aiswarya Prathap
Aiswarya Prathap é uma artista indiana baseada em Lisboa, com foco principal na dança contemporânea. Tem trabalhado como bailarina e tutora desde 2019 em Portugal e na Índia. Como artista, Aiswarya acredita na inclusão e na igualdade de oportunidades na arte, independentemente do desequilíbrio social e económico, e esforça-se por trabalhar nesse sentido. Os seus principais trabalhos em Portugal incluem “SOPRO” (Bruno Rodriguez), “Eminente” (Eliana Campos) e os projectos a solo “Forgive me if I don't make sense” e “Foot Fetish”. Como parte da sua formação e trabalho em dança, teve a oportunidade de trabalhar com muitos coreógrafos estabelecidos e emergentes em todo o mundo e fazer parte de vários festivais.
Aiswarya Prathap is a Lisbon based artist from India with main focus on contemporary dance. She has been working as a dancer and tutor since 2019 in Portugal and India. As an artist, Aiswarya believes in inclusivity and equal opportunity in art regardless of social and economic imbalance and thrives to work towards it. Her major works in Portugal include “SOPRO” ( Bruno Rodriguez), “Eminente” (Eliana Campos) and solo projects “Forgive me if I do not make sense” and “Foot Fetish”. As part of her dance education and work, she has had the opportunity to work with many established and emerging choreographers around the world and be part of various festivals.

Se estiveste numa das noites “Do The BUS Stop” que tiveram lugar mensalmente no Bus ao longo de 4 anos, já sabes! ;) Quando atrás dos pratos, Vanja espezinha o ego e entrega-se à vontade comunal. Fiel a uma tradição ancorada na Black music, os seus sets são um caldeirão fervilhante que abraça tudo o que tenha groove e alma, misturando instintivamente funk, disco, house, reggae, música africana, latina e eletrónica, com um inegável tempero jazzy.
If you’ve been to one of the monthly “Do The BUS Stop” nights that took place along 4 years, you know the deal! ;) When behind the decks, Vanja combines his experience and heartfelt knowledge of several shades of Black music with an intuitive and adventurous style. The American expression “the whole ball of wax” - meaning “everything”, “the whole thing” - says it all: in his sets, Vanja navigates seamlessly between old and new sounds ranging from disco, to funk, house, reggae, Latin and African music, always with a strong jazzy touch.
