Discover Chantraine Dance of Expression - suitable for all adult dancersChantraine Dance of Expression offers a distinctive approach to dance, which includes elements from the familiar styles of contemporary, ballet, jazz and dances from other cultures, and unites the principles of dance, yoga and Pilates.
Its aim is to help dancers of all abilities to understand and develop themselves in all aspects of movement through rhythm, relaxation to engage the imagination, technique, creativity and choreography, going far beyond one style of dance alone.
*Spring course*
This course is a set of three 2-hour workshops offering a taste of Chantraine dance where you will learn one of Francoise Chantraine's choreographies. Each 2-hour workshop is designed to be a one off class, or if you join the whole course (3 workshops) you will have a deeper experience of Chantraine and feel more confident dancing the chosen choreography by the end. Both the April and June workshops will be at The Dance Space in Brighton and the May workshop will be at Marina Studios in Brighton.
