Channel 101 is a non-profit monthly film festival and network founded in 2003 by Rob Schrab (Monster House, The Sarah Silverman Show, Rick and Morty) and Dan Harmon (Community, Rick and Morty, Harmonquest). Channel 101 has helped launch the careers of many well known filmmakers and actors and had many guest stars including: The Lonely Island, Sarah Silverman, Kumail Nanjiani, Jack Black, Bob Odenkirk, Felicia Day, Randall Park, John Oliver, Tommy Wiseau, Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim and more.

Anyone can submit anything to the festival, there's no fee for submissions and all ideas are welcome - the only rule is that shows must be five minutes or less. Every submission is watched by a panel consisting of the showrunners of the current primetime programs. They then discuss and vote on their top five favorites from that month’s submissions. These five new pilots will be presented alongside new episodes of the primetime shows at our live screening at the end of the month. The audience will vote and the top five shows with the highest tally become the new primetime.
