Chance to Dance – Festival Showcase of Inclusive Dance
About this Event
Welcome to Chance to Dance - Festival Showcase of inclusive dance, where we create access to dance and performance for all.
With the support of City Literary Institute (Citylit), Movement Angol Dance invites you to a vibrant, joy‑filled day of dance and performance — a celebration of inclusive creativity where everyone is welcome, regardless of ability.
Immerse yourself in a full day of dynamic dance workshops and inspiring performances. Move to the rhythm, connect with your inner flow, and unlock new layers of imagination, expression, and physical presence. This is your chance to explore dance as a pathway to emotional and physical wellbeing, and to experience how creativity becomes a shared language for all.
The day showcases a powerful range of diverse works from both professional artists and community performers, each bringing their own unique voice and movement style. You’ll also experience a special performance of ‘I Am a Born Fighter’ by Rowan Gill — a piece rooted in awareness, resilience, joy, and self‑expression.
Expect energy. Expect connection. Expect diversity. Expect dance for everyone.
