👣 Hike Description
This Beginner-Friendly scenic and varied hike combines rolling chalk landscapes, ancient woodlands, historic estates, picturesque villages and one of Britain's most important wildflower reserves.
Starting from the peaceful village of Sole Street, we'll make our way through the scenic chalk landscapes of the Kent Downs before arriving in the picturesque village of Cobham. Here we'll pass the beautiful parish church, renowned for its magnificent medieval brasses and historic tombs.
From Cobham, we continue through the landscaped parkland of Cobham Park and pass the impressive Darnley Mausoleum, an elegant neo-classical monument set among rolling countryside.
Leaving Cobham park, we join two of England's famous long-distance trails – the North Downs Way and the Wealdway – as we head towards the charming and secluded village of Luddesdown, one of Kent's hidden gems surrounded by beautiful countryside.
