A free, family-friendly summer celebration of chalk art, doodles, music, and community fun at Glendale Marketplace!
The Chalk-A-Doodle Festival is back for another colorful year at Glendale Marketplace!
Join us on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 1:00–6:00 PM for an afternoon filled with creativity, imagination, community connection and fun nods to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the heart of downtown Glendale. This free festival invites guests of all ages to enjoy live chalk murals by local artists, community doodle art stations and gallery, music, pop-up vendors, family-friendly activities, and special offerings from Glendale Marketplace businesses.
Throughout the event, local artists will transform the walkways of Glendale Marketplace into a vibrant outdoor art experience, creating chalk murals from the heart, each one reflecting their own inspiration, imagination, and creative style. Guests can stroll through the colorful mural walkway, enjoy the art as it comes to life, and take part in the fun by creating their own doodles to be displayed in the Community Art Gallery.
Whether you are bringing the kids, meeting friends, supporting local artists, joining a watch party or looking for more ways to enjoy downtown Glendale before Cruise Night, Chalk-A-Doodle is the perfect summer day outing.
