Chakra Harmonizing Ragas is een meeslepende sessie van een uur, ontworpen om innerlijke balans te activeren door middel van diep luisteren en frequentiegebaseerde healing.
Gecreëerd door Nimisha Shankar — Indiase zangeres, sonische alchemist en creatief directeur van Recalling Roots.
Deze ervaring combineert de eeuwenoude wijsheid van Nada Yoga (de yoga van geluid) met nieuwe inzichten uit de neurowetenschap en vibratietherapie en reist door de zeven chakra's van het lichaam — van Mooladhara (Wortel) tot Sahasrara (Kroon) — met behulp van zeven klassieke Indiase raga's, elk afgestemd op de unieke vibratie van een specifiek energiecentrum.
Het klanklandschap is een meditatieve fusie van traditionele instrumenten zoals tanpura en swarmandal, gelaagd met transcendentale ambient texturen en subtiele elektronische elementen, wat een sonische wereld creëert die zowel tijdloos als eigentijds is. Het resultaat is een sfeer die heilig, ruimtelijk en diep persoonlijk aanvoelt.
Deelnemers worden zachtjes in een rusthouding geleid – zittend of liggend – en uitgenodigd om een staat van verhoogd bewustzijn te bereiken door middel van ademhalingsoefeningen, chakravisualisatie en geconcentreerd luisteren. In plaats van te leiden met instructies, wordt de muziek zelf de leraar – die helpt de analytische geest tot rust te brengen en het zenuwstelsel opnieuw af te stemmen door middel van resonantie en ritme.
Dit is geen performance. Het is een sonische meditatie – een ruimte om de innerlijke harmonie te herijken, los te laten en te herinneren. De ervaring sluit af met een reflectieve stilte en het delen van zorgvuldig geselecteerde bronnen om de resonantie in het dagelijks leven te dragen.

Created by Nimisha Shankar — Indian vocalist, sonic alchemist, and Creative Director of Recalling Roots — Chakra Harmonizing Ragas is a one-hour immersive session designed to activate inner balance through deep listening and frequency-based healing.
Blending the ancient wisdom of Nada Yoga (the yoga of sound) with emerging insights from neuroscience and vibrational therapy, this experience journeys through the body’s seven chakras — from Mooladhara (Root) to Sahasrara (Crown) — using seven Indian classical ragas, each attuned to the unique vibration of a specific energy center.
The soundscape is a meditative fusion of traditional instruments like tanpura and swarmandal, layered with transcendental ambient textures and subtle electronic elements, offering a sonic world that is both timeless and contemporary. The result is an atmosphere that feels sacred, expansive, and deeply personal.
Participants are gently guided into a resting posture — seated or lying down — and invited into a state of heightened awareness through breathwork, chakra visualization, and focused listening.
