You’ll learn how to teach a safe, accessible, and transformative Chair Yoga class—whether your students are seated or standing with the support of a chair. We’ll explore how to adapt movement for limited mobility, incorporate pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques, and choose the right props to support your students. You’ll also get practical guidance on how to market yourself to this population, plus class materials to help you create thoughtful, accessible sequences with confidence.
Registered Yoga teachers can earn 4 CEU’s with Yoga Alliance
This workshop will have discussion as well as (2) 1 hour yoga practices, so please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat. We will have a break, and vegetarian snacks and hot tea will be provided.
