Learn how to teach yoga with the use of a chair and explore how to adapt the class for those with limited mobility. You will learn how to:
Teach a safe and transformative Chair Yoga Class
Teach a safe and transformative Chair Yoga Class standing (with use of a chair)
Use pranayama, meditation and relaxation techniques for your students
Market yourself in this population
Learn the props to use in a Chair Yoga Class
Class materials will be provided for creating sequences.
Registered Yoga teachers can earn 4 CEU’s with Yoga Alliance
This workshop will have discussion as well as (2) 1 hour yoga practices, so please wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat. We will have a break and vegetarian snacks and hot tea will be provided.
