Chair Yoga Program (District-Sponsored)

This class focuses on gentle stretches, mindful breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, all performed while seated or using a chair for support. No prior yoga experience is necessary, making it ideal for beginners and those with physical limitations.

For best results, participants are encouraged to attend all 20 sections.

Please remember to bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing, and appropriate shoes to class.

• Have you been referred to this program by your physician or have a note from your health care provider that indicates that this program would be beneficial to you?
• Open to participants of the District's Lifestyle Change Program.
• We are reserving space in this program for individuals who fall into a lower economic bracket and who would be unable to participate in our other programs. You will be asked to self-certify that your income falls within the Very Low Income designation (you can review those limits here).

Leslie Salmon began her yoga practice in 1998 and began teaching yoga in 2000. She is also a Yoga Therapist, using the tools of yoga as she works with people in partnership to improve health and wellbeing. Her greatest moments while teaching are when someone says, "I didn't know (or remember) I could do that!" She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and lover of dogs, and has lived in Fallbrook since 2011. Leslie is Certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT.org) and by the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga. She is also registered with Yoga Alliance at the Experienced 500-hour level.
