The Canadian Screen Award-winning actor, former MuchMusic and CBC broadcaster, made UNSAFE on censorship and artistic freedom in Canada. Lee engineers and produces music, she played myriad bands including Bob's Your Uncle, Sean, and CCMC. Her album "jooj two," reached #1 on the national campus chart, her latest 72RHR, is #1 on the electronic music chart. Lee's songs have been covered by Neko Case and featured in the cult-horror movies INFINITY POOL and ANTIVIRAL.

"I’ve been playing live with my anti-band: Dylan Gamble (from the band Hot Garbage) on guitar, Sarah Kilpack on BG’s and performance art, and dancer Ronnie Clarke. We're kind of conceptual and definitely unhinged. We’re looking forward to touring this fall." -Sook-Yin Lee

From the eldritch depths of the maritime marshes, Swamp Magic combines the synthpunk sounds of Saltmarsh Witchcraft with Bog Sorcery's oneiric trip hop grooves to brew a bubbling crock of sonic stew. Their creations have been described as "really weird, but in a really cozy way", "dark and playful," and "the signature smell of the street."
