The Smiths etc and The Killing Moon make their Guelph debuts at Sonic Hall, celebrating two bands that helped define the sound of ’80s alternative music.
The Smiths etc marks the 40th anniversary of The Queen Is Dead with “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out,” “Bigmouth Strikes Again” and more from the album, alongside favorites like “How Soon Is Now?”, “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now” and “This Charming Man.”
The Killing Moon brings Echo & The Bunnymen’s atmospheric post-punk to the stage, including “The Killing Moon,” “Lips Like Sugar” and “The Cutter.”
