Ceramics Sessions - Multiple Dates

Open Sessions are sessions for beginners to experience, practice and make something with clay, these sessions will have a tutor available to answer any questions and do simple demonstrations.

These sessions are predominantly for handbuilding techniques. Pottery wheels are available for those who have completed at least a wheel throwing taster or have equivalent experience.

Please consider booking a wheel throwing class with us if you're new to wheel throwing.

Open Sessions are a great opportunity for non-members, beginners and those who want a bit more assistance to explore ceramics and get guidance from a tutor.

We reserve the right not to fire items that pose a risk to equipment.

We will not glaze fire items that have been brought in from home.

Session size: 8 Participants and 1 Staff

Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty, remove jewellery and wear sensible footwear.

We have aprons available for use during your session if required

The ceramics studio is situated upstairs, if you have mobility issues please contact us beforehand.
