Join us to try your hand at ceramics! In this hands-on pottery class, you'll have the choice between two unique and functional projects to create: a garlic grater tapas tray with an olive oil bottle, OR an appetizer platter with dip dish.
Guided by local ceramicist Kim of Native Blanket Design, you'll learn basic and advanced handbuilding techniques. She'll also give you personalized tips and tricks to help bring your design ideas to life. The focus will be on crafting dishes that not only showcase beautiful craftsmanship but also enhance the appetizer serving experience.
Shortly after the course ends, the instructor will add the finishing touches (including firing and glazing your handmade pottery items) and deliver them back to you.
Whether you're a beginner or experienced potter, this class is perfect for anyone looking to combine creativity with functionality in their pottery! Come enjoy the soothing process of working with clay while creating beautiful, food-friendly pottery.
