Join the African American Farmers of California and Farms to Grow, Inc.at the the 1st Annual Central Valley Blackeye Pea Festival & Cook Off, taking place Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2520 SW Creek Village Way, Fresno, California. This inaugural celebration amplifies Black farmers in the Central Valley and honors the agricultural legacy crops of Black farmers, the cultural significance of Blackeye peas, and the rich food traditions that continue to shape African American communities across the Central Valley.


The festival will bring together families, farmers, chefs, youth, and community partners for a day filled with food, culture, education, and economic opportunity.
