Want to meet fellow Striders, go for a social run/walk, get more involved? Join us for our August club meeting and social run on Wednesday, August 13, in Waterville.
Those who want to run or walk beforehand, meet at the Chace Community Forum (150 Main Street, Waterville) at 5:30 p.m. for a 1- to 3-mile (30-ish minute) social run/walk. Feel free to use the restroom and drop your stuff inside. (If anyone is using the meeting room before us, please wait until 5:30 to go in.) Once gathered, our 1-3 mile run/walk will take us over the Kennebec River, by way of the Two Cent Bridge, crossing over into the Winslow High School neighborhood.
The monthly club meeting will commence around 6:15 p.m., once everyone is back and settled. We will have time to socialize following the meeting. Hot tea and cold water will be provided. Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome, as are snacks.
All are welcome to the run/walk and/or the club meeting.
