ATTENTION: Champaign County Disc Golf Club Members!!!
The Central Illinois Club Challenge between the Champaign County Disc Golf Club and the Springfield Disc Golf Club will be held on Saturday, October 25th, at the Lincoln Park North and South Courses, in Springfield, Illinois.
In the next couple weeks I will be looking for volunteers that are current CCDGC members to fill a roster for two rounds of specialized doubles and singles competition.
1. Each team will consist of up to 14 players. Each round, 10 players will compete (6 for Doubles and 4 for singles), with substitutions allowed between rounds. Each player on the team must play at least one event Doubles or Singles, and not more than two events. Each team must have at least one Masters player and one Women's player play at least one event. If unable to fill any requirement, that Club will play with fewer players for that event.
2. Each team will seed their starting rosters before each match (Doubles are seeded as teams, individually for singles)
3. Play will follow PDGA rules
4. Matches will be decided at random before each round. Seeds will normally only play against other seeds at the same value. The only exception is when there are an uneven number of teams.
Round structure:
The morning round will consist of 3 teams in Best Shot Doubles (Stroke Play) at Lincoln Park South.
Singles (Match Play) 4 players from each club at Lincoln Park South.
The afternoon round will consist of Alternating Shot doubles (Match Play) at Lincoln Park North
Singles (Skins) at Lincoln Park North.
