The Hoogland Center for the Arts is excited to present Little Shop of Horrors on October 24-26 and October 31-November 2 in the LRS Theatre. The show will be directed by Joe-Michael Jackson and Ginny Racette.
A theatrical classic that has captivated audiences for over three decades, Little Shop of Horrors remains one of the most popular and enduring musicals in theatre and film history. In this delightfully twisted tale, Seymour Krelborn, a humble floral assistant, stumbles upon a mysterious new plant during a total eclipse of the sun. He names the strange new plant Audrey II, after his co-worker, and crush, at the flower shop. Little does Seymour know, this talking, R&B-singing carnivore is about to change his life in unimaginable ways. As Audrey II promises fame and fortune in exchange for... BLOOD, Seymour's world quickly spirals out of control, leading him to discover the true, world-dominating intentions of his beloved plant.
