Celebrate the women who inspire our community at Celebrating Women's Leadership on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Table and Lain.

This inspiring evening is all about making connections, celebrating women's achievements, and honoring the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which secured women's right to vote in 1920. Enjoy delicious food, meaningful conversation, and the opportunity to connect with community members while celebrating the leaders who continue to make a lasting impact. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage people of all genders to join us in celebrating women's leadership.

The evening will feature the presentation of the inaugural Forest Park Vital Voices Award to Kimberly A. Lightford in recognition of her extraordinary leadership, advocacy, and commitment to creating opportunities for others.

Proceeds from the event benefit Sarah's Inn, a nonprofit serving Forest Park, and surrounding West Suburban communities. For more than 45 years, Sarah's Inn has provided emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, prevention education, and other critical services that help individuals and families affected by domestic violence build lives free from abuse.
