About this Event
Join us on Friday, January 31, from 6–8 PM at Epilogue Books Chocolate Brews for an evening of reflection, celebration, and community. Together, we’ll learn about the individuals and movements that have fought to ensure that Asian American stories are told and remembered.
Featuring:
- SAADA co-founder and executive director Samip Mallick, with an introduction to South Asian American history
- Divya Aikat and Christina Huang, UNC students whose fellowship with SAADA highlighted the fight for Asian American studies programs at UNC, Duke, and other colleges and universities across the country
Come for an inspiring evening filled with meaningful connection and storytelling! Refreshments will be served!
