Celebrate the Chinese New Yearat the Heyde Center!

Join us for a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Chinese New Year, presented by the Chinese Friendship and Scholarship Association in partnership with the Heyde Center for the Arts!
Schedule of Events
12:00pm – 1:00pm: Enjoy a delicious meal.
1:30pm – 3:00pm: Experience an exciting program featuring the Spectacular Dragon and Lion Dancers from Hong De Wu Guan; Captivating Tai Chi demonstrations; Children’s Waist Drum Performance; Engaging cultural activities, interactive experiences, fun games, and prizes!
Ticket sales will support the mission of the Chinese Friendship and Scholarship Association. The mission of the Chinese Friendship and Scholarship Association (CFSA) is to build bridges between cultures through education, collaboration, and celebration. The CFSA aims to promote appreciation and understanding of Chinese language and culture, facilitate communication and friendship among its members, and assist new Chinese faculty and visiting scholars during their settle-in periods in Wisconsin. Additionally, the organization hosts various events that celebrate Chinese traditions and foster community engagement.
