QPL’s Culture Connection is delighted to host this centenary celebration of jazz titan Miles Davis featuring Wayne Tucker on trumpet and his backing band The Bad Mothas. Their performance promises a powerful tribute to the incredible legacy and artistry of Miles Davis. Come out and hear some of Miles' greatest work covered in the exact style Miles wrote and recorded it and also hear how Wayne Tucker creates his own renditions of favorite works from “The Sorcerer’s” immense and varied catalog.
Wayne Tucker is a Grammy-Nominated trumpeter, composer, arranger, violinist, vocalist, actor, model and educator based in New York City. He has released 5 albums under his name and performs regularly with his band, The Bad Mothas in New York City. Listen here:
