Queens Get The Cup: World Cup Viewing Event

We're presenting a free World Cup viewing experience, and a community art activity at this event! At Queens Get The Cup, you can design your own custom button pins and contribute to a vibrant community art wall pre-game, then join us for the FIFA World Cup Final!

Gather with friends, family, and soccer fans from across the borough for this free community screening, and art activity.

About the art installation

Families and children are invited to come together to create a large-scale collaborative art installation on the JPAC lawn from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM while gathering for the live streaming of the World Cup Final (kick- off at 3 PM).

Participants will design their own custom button pins and contribute to a vibrant community art wall featuring handmade crafts and instant Polaroid photographs capturedon-site throughout the event.

This interactive experience encourages creativity, community engagement, and shared celebration, transforming personal memories into a collective visual artwork that reflects the excitement and spirit of this historic occasion.

At the conclusion of the event, each participant will leave with personalized keep sakes—including their button pins and Polaroid photos—creating lasting memories to take home and cherish.

Event Timeline

12:00 PM–2:15 PM: Exhibition open and family activities (outdoors and indoors)

2:15 PM–2:45 PM: Indoor space reset and optional artist talk

3:00 PM: World Cup Final viewing begins
