We invite you to join the University of La Verne Office of Alumni Engagement and the African-American Museum of Beginnings for a special Celebration & Fundraiser honoring ULV alumnus Baba Khalif Rasshan '73 founder and curator of the African-American Museum of Beginnings. This special luncheon will celebrate the life’s work of Baba Khalif Rasshan and his enduring impact on our community.
Your ticket includes a thoughtfully prepared Southern-style luncheon and an afternoon of storytelling, cultural reflection, and community, bringing together alumni, community leaders, educators, and cultural advocates committed to honoring history through action and sustaining legacy through investment.
This fundraiser offers many meaningful ways to support. Attendees may support the Khalif and Victoria Rasshan Family Scholarship at the University of La Verne or explore the ‘Support the Museum’ page to learn how this celebration contributes to the Museum’s long-term sustainability.
Don't miss out! This is the perfect celebration to close out Black History Month — honoring legacy, community, and the powerful work of the African American Museum of Beginnings.
