Presenters:
Dr. Whitney Coppolino:
Dr. Coppolino received her M.D. at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). She went on to train at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (PA) where she did her internship and residency in internal medicine. She completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Hofstra Northwell and a fellowship in women’s heart health at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Anna O'Kelly:
Anna grew up in Toronto, Canada and moved to Berkeley, California just before high school. She attended McGill University for her undergraduate studies. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Latin American Studies at Oxford University where her thesis examined the role of health policy in influencing access to healthcare for sex workers in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After finishing graduate school she attended medical school at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She moved to Boston for her residency in internal medicine where she was a chief resident at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. She remained at MGH for cardiology fellowship where she was chief fellow. Her primary clinical and academic interests are in women’s heart health & cardio-obstetrics, interventional cardiology, and healthcare delivery. She is spending her 3rd-4th years in fellowship pursuing enriched clinical training in women’s heart health and cardio-obstetrics through the Corrigan Women’s Heart Health Program and is a fellow in the David F. Torchiana, MD, Fellowship in Health Policy and Management at MGH.
