Celebrate the 4th of July in Downtown Midland
3:00 to 4:30 PM – Historical presentation, music by the Chemical City Band and formal reading of the Declaration of Independence on the Dow Diamond lawn, located at 825 E. Main St. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign a 50-foot replica of the Declaration, commemorating the document that helped shape our nation 250 years ago.
4:00 PM – A variety of food trucks will be available to curb your cravings on State Street
6:00 PM – Main Street - Commons Live Music Series performance by Teddy Petty & the Refugees. This stage is located at the intersection of Main St. and McDonald St.
8:00 PM – Live music by Stone Street Revival on the front lawn of Dow Diamond
Approximately 10:06 PM – The celebration culminates with a spectacular fireworks display launched from the St. Charles softball diamonds. Fireworks will be visible from the grounds surrounding Dow Diamond, Founders Park, Whiting Overlook Park, and other downtown viewing areas. Please note that guests seated behind the East End Building will not have a view of the fireworks.
