Join us as we honor and uplift the many cultures that make Norwich such a vibrant and beautiful community. The Annual Celebrate Cultural Diversity event will take place on Monday, September 29, from 5pm to 9pm at Chelsea Parade, located at Broadway and Union Street in Norwich.
This free, family-friendly event is brought to you by the Norwich Rotary Club, Norwich Sunrise Rotary Club, and the Rotary Community Corps. Our goal is to raise awareness of the rich cultural diversity in our region and to celebrate the many traditions, talents, and voices that make up our shared home.
Throughout the evening, enjoy live music, dance, and cultural performances, including Sikh dastaar tying, African head wrapping demonstrations, and much more.
Food Tasting Experience
From 5pm to 7pm, take part in our cultural food tasting, featuring flavors from around the world prepared by local restaurants and community organizations.
Tickets are just $10 per person (children under 6 eat free), and include a sampling from every participating food vendor. It's a delicious way to experience the heart of Norwich, one bite at a time.
Honoring Community Champions
At 6:45pm, we will proudly present the Lottie B. Scott Diversity Award and the Community Diversity Award, recognizing a local resident and organization who have promoted peace, inclusion, and understanding in our community.
