Culture Bazaar
Part of Chinese Culture Week 2026
Free Admission
Discover a vibrant cultural marketplace where creativity, craftsmanship and community come together.
Taking place during Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the Culture Bazaar is one of the public highlights of Chinese Culture Week (CCW) 2026. Bringing together artists, designers, cultural organisations, heritage craftspeople and independent brands from China and around the world, it offers visitors an opportunity to explore culture through conversation, creativity and discovery.
Unlike a traditional market, the Culture Bazaar is designed as an open cultural space where visitors can browse handcrafted works, discover unique gifts, meet the makers behind the products and experience live demonstrations throughout the day.
Whether you're interested in contemporary design, traditional craftsmanship, cultural storytelling or simply looking for something unique, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
What to expect
• Independent artists and designer brands
• Traditional Chinese crafts and heritage products
• Handmade gifts and creative works
• Cultural organisations and community initiatives
• Live craft demonstrations
• Opportunities to meet creators and learn about their work
Free to enter and open to all ages, the Culture Bazaar invites everyone to slow down, explore and experience culture in a welcoming and interactive environment.
