About this Event
The Community Connection Feast at The Salisbury Centre happens every third Monday of the month. Everyone is welcome!
2025 dates: 15 September, 20 October, 17 November, 15 December
Community Connection Feast is a communal meal open to everyone. Newcomers, old friends of The Salisbury Centre, and everyone in between is welcome to join for an evening of celebration, sharing food, and connecting with one another.
Location: The Salisbury Centre, Art Room
Date: Every third Monday of the month
Time: 18:00- 21:00 (Read below for details of evening schedule)
Accessibility: The Art room is on the ground floor & fully accessible

18:00 – Come early to help set up / do any food prep in the kitchen
18:30 – Arrivals
19:00 – Sit down to begin the meal (a moment of silence, poem, introductions)
20:00 – Tea & deserts (last entry, no more food prep after this time)
20:30 – Pack down (help is much appreciated) and home time 🙂
We are now introducing Eventbrite bookings to be able to better gauge how many people are coming. Please book your free spot here if you know you're coming.
There is an option to leave a donation as well – more info on that below!

Some more practicalities
Community Connection Feasts are here at The Salisbury Centre to warm not only our bellies, but also our hearts!
This is a bring-and-share kind of meal, please bring something vegetarian to share. You are welcome to use the kitchen to heat your dish or chop things up when you arrive. We encourage you to do most of the food prep at home, as the kitchen can get quite crowded if there are multiple people doing food prep.
It is lovely if you can bring something homemade, but we understand that this isn't always possible. Something as simple as bread and hummus will also do the trick!
Additionally, we are now introducing the option to leave a donation upon booking your free spot. This is for those of you who won't be able to bring anything but would like to contribute to some snacks and sides instead. These will be purchased by the host from the donation money.
Please note that if you can't afford a donation or to bring food, you are still welcome to join! The above is to provide as many options as possible to contribute for those who can, but who may be busy / not have a shop nearby.
