Hidden deep-sea creatures and wild island birds by community activist, teacher, and passionate environmental conservationist, Catherine F. Traykovski.
Catherine Freudenberg Traykovski is an artist and printmaker. Her work is dedicated to promoting environmental conservation, not only through the subject-matter but through the processes she uses to create her artwork. Catherine uses solar plates to create her print plates instead of toxic chemicals, and her work is printed on durable, eco-friendly Freudenberg Evolon ® fabric instead of canvas. Catherine is the eldest child of a large artistic family. Her father Albrecht Freudenberg, was a German painter who taught and exhibited throughout NYC and Long Island. His work inspired Catherine’s passion for art.
