A quiet time set apart, to be silent, reflect and intercede; so contributing to and continuing the wave of prayer in the Cathedral. Each Friday, at 9.30 am - St Carthage's Cathedral, Lismore, Co. Waterford.
“Prayer is the open admission that without Christ we can do nothing. And prayer is the turning away from ourselves to God in the confidence that He will provide the help we need. Prayer humbles us as needy and exalts God as wealthy.”
John Piper (1946 - ) Theologian, author, pastor
“We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.”
Oswald Chambers (1874 - 1917) Scottish Baptist evangelist, author
“O Lord God, tireless guardian of your people, you are always ready to hear our cries. Teach us to rely day and night on your care.”
