WHO IT’S FOR
The workshop is designed specifically for those working across the arts and creative sectors at all levels.
WHY IT MATTERS
Creating genuinely inclusive arts environments means understanding and recognising the experiences and needs of Autistic and Neurodivergent people.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN
This interactive session aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of autism and its implications within Irish society and more specifically the Arts sector in Ireland.
By exploring barriers, along with key concepts and strategies, attendees will be better equipped to foster an inclusive environment for Autistic and Neurodivergent colleagues, as well as advocate for themselves as Autistic and Neurodivergent individuals.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Throughout this session, we will provide you with valuable insights and tools around creating neuro-affirming environments, supportive communication strategies, and supporting Autistic and Neurodivergent employees.

As part of the workshop booking process, we will ask you 5 questions about your role, your sector and where you are based. This ensures that we are reaching individuals in the arts and creative sectors and helps further tailor our workshops to who’s in the room.

However, these sessions do require significant resources to run, so we sincerely appreciate your commitment to attending once a place has been reserved for you.
