About this Event
For years, we've been standing up to what has often felt like a giant. Predatory Development. While many of you may not have seen it, we've been quietly doing the work—showing up at City Hall, meeting with our elected officials, standing with our elders in the face of predatory developers, and gathering community leaders to chart a path forward. We've approached these conversations with integrity, hoping collaboration was possible. Instead, we've been told that what our community wants doesn't matter.
Clearly they don't know how we roll!!
They don't know what happens when a community remembers its power. They don't know what happens when neighbors lock arms, when generations come together, when we are guided by the wisdom of our ancestors and rooted in love for the place we call home.
