It's the final competition of Season 2 before we go into All Stars and we've moved back to SECOND Wednesday! This month, competitors will be challenged to bring out their best performances while showcasing what Pride means to them! Hosted by CJ himself, this final competition is sure to be one for the CARS memory books! Taking place the Second Wednesday in June (June 12th)!
Also returning as our guest judge and performer, we are pleased to welcome back February's Winner: Bella Donna Cartier Reigns! She will be judging the competition and providing entertainment for everyone throughout the night. This event will span over two categories:
- Judged Portion: In theme, contestants will present their best Pride presentations to our panel of judges. Scores will be based on a variety of criteria and contestants will receive judges' critiques at the end of the night. This is the ONLY portion that has to be in theme!
- Audience Appeal: As the name suggests, YOU, the audience, will have the chance to vote for your top three favorite performers! This category is to showcase a competitor's BEST and/or FAVORITE performance to score popularity with the audience to secure votes.
Scores from both categories will be added together to deduce top three competitors. In the event of a tie, top individuals will enter a LIP SYNC battle for the win!
We are very excited to host Catch A Rising Star once again and cannot wait to see what our contenders do for this event! It all goes down Wednesday, June 12th, beginning at 730pm! Only at The Draft Society Taproom!
