Making something by hand is such a satisfying feeling! There's something about working with clay that is meditative and very gratifying. Once you try this out, you'll be hooked!
Get in a zen state of mind with a creative carving session
CARVED IN CLAY
Immerse yourself in the art of carving with clay!
Join us for a zen-like experience as we delve into the world of creative clay carving. This unique workshop offers a peaceful and meditative atmosphere, perfect for those looking to unwind and tap into their artistic side.
No prior clay experience is necessary - just come with an open mind and a willingness to create!
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to hand build a pot and craft a tumbler, which has been pre-prepared in advance for you to personalise.
Explore various carving techniques and styles, including traditional methods, such as kurinuku and sgraffito, decorate using coloured slip, under the guidance of our experienced instructor.
After the workshop, your pieces will be glazed and fired, ready for you to pick up at the studio!
All necessary clay and tools will be provided, so simply come dressed in comfortable attire that you don't mind getting a little messy. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to unleash your creativity and leave with beautiful handcrafted pieces to cherish for years to come!
