Celebrate the joy of the season with ‘Carols & Brass’, our biennial presentation of beloved Christmas carols and beautifully arranged brass selections. Showcasing carols from around the world and enriched by solos and ensemble performances—including works by Dan Forrest, Sir David Willcocks, Handel, and others—this evening is the ideal introduction to the Christmas season
Nothing heralds the majesty of Christmas time like the brilliance and beauty of brass. Come and enjoy a traditional Christmas experience that will brighten and warm your heart. The evening will feature several traditional carols such as O Come All Ye Faithful, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night, The First Noel, and others. The audience will also have the chance to sing along to select carols, making this a Christmas tradition you won’t want to miss!
A gathered City Tabernacle Choir will join with a Festival Brass Ensemble on Saturday & Sunday 14 and 15 December 2024 at 6.30pm. Free parking is available at 51 Astor Terrace. Alternatively, the Brisbane City Council Wickham Terrace Carpark is diagonally opposite the Church and is available for $6. Entry is free, and all are welcome!
