Antenatal Physiotherapy Education

This two-and-half hour workshop delivered by an expert pelvic health physiotherapist aims to convey a sense of empowerment and resilience for those along the journey from pregnancy to postpartum. While there is a focus on pelvic health, there is a focus on wellbeing and up-to-date evidence to guide you and your support team.

Facilitated by Alexandra Diggles from Pelviology, this course offers a detailed evening discussion covering various aspects, including:

• Exploring Holistic Wellbeing During Pregnancy, emphasizing pelvic health in physical, mental, and emotional aspects.
• Addressing Common Pregnancy Fears to prevent pelvic health issues.
• Providing Pelvic Fitness and Strength Training with customized exercises for before and after childbirth, along with live demonstrations for specific pelvic floor exercises.
• Offering guidance on developing and maintaining pelvic strength for overall well-being throughout and post-pregnancy.
• Introducing mindfulness techniques to strengthen the mind-body connection.
• Sharing effective strategies to manage pelvic health concerns during ante-natal and post-natal periods, focusing on communication with healthcare providers and partners.
• Highlighting the importance of inclusive involvement of partners in the childbirth and recovery processes, with tips on creating a supportive home environment during ante-natal and post-natal phases.
• Presenting early recovery methods for progressing on the postpartum journey with practical skills and steps.
• Participants will receive comprehensive handouts and resources for continued support on their pelvic health journey post-workshop, along with exclusive discounts on products and programs for ongoing assistance during pregnancy.
